The next part of your coursework will explain in detail factors that can affect the health of your chosen target group. These detailed explanations will be followed by the short-term and long-term effects the factors have on your chosen target group.
These factors include:
You must select a minimum of FOUR factors (in bold), one of which MUST be lifestyle choices (of which a minimum of FOUR lifestyle factors must be selected)

- Lifestyle choices – diet, exercise, substance abuse, alcohol, smoking, incidence of sunbathing/sunbeds
- Work/life balance
- Stress
- Environmental issues – housing, pollution, socio-economic, workplace, socialisation
- Financial factors – income, expenditure, debt
- Physical, intellectual, emotional and social factors
- Attitudes and prejudice/discrimination
- The role of mass media in influencing lifestyles
- The influence of family, dependents, friends, peers and colleagues
